Measuring inside the complexity of a real production environment.
The challenge was not to demonstrate measurement under controlled conditions. It was to integrate the system into processes already running, with irregular products, movement, overlap, dirt and changing conditions.
Measurement was integrated into the existing workflow, turning the flow of bulbs into structured information available throughout the season without stopping the process to observe the product.
